Product Description

The Jacuzzi WUA400-I is a single-speed, 2.5 HP, 230 V single-phase centrifugal pump with a corrosion-resistant thermoplastic (fibre-reinforced) wet end. Originally built for spa and pool circulation on the proven LX 56-frame platform, its rust-free body and close-coupled design also make it a practical general-purpose transfer and booster pump. Imported and tested, supplied by Standard Machinery, Bhavnagar, for buyers across India and export markets.

Overview

This is a close-coupled (monoblock-style) centrifugal pump with 2" union connections (center suction, side discharge) that fit standard 2" plumbing. The 230 V single-phase motor runs at 3450 RPM, draws 12 A, is thermally protected and rated for continuous duty. Because the wet end is thermoplastic rather than metal, it will not rust — making it well suited to chlorinated, salt and chemically treated water that would corrode an ordinary cast-iron pump.

⚡ Power Supply Note (India / 50 Hz)

This pump is designed for 230 V single phase, 60 Hz. It runs on Indian 230 V single-phase supply, but as Indian supply is 50 Hz, the pump runs about 17% slower (around 2875 RPM) with slightly lower flow and head, and the motor runs a little warmer. This is acceptable for most light and intermittent duty. For continuous heavy use, ask us for advice.

Chemical Handling
