Voltage & Power Note
This pump is supplied as a 3 phase, 440 V unit with a 3.7 kW motor. Sakuragawa builds its pumps in separate 50 Hz and 60 Hz versions; please contact us and we will confirm the frequency rating of this unit before dispatch. If it is a 60 Hz version, it will run about 17% slower on Indian 50 Hz supply, with reduced head and flow, unless operated through a VFD set to 60 Hz output.
Use a DOL starter with overload, phase-failure and earth protection.
Safety Note
- This refurbished unit is not offered as explosion-proof and must not be used in hazardous areas
- Pump water only, including water with sand and silt; not for oil, fuel, solvents or flammable liquids
- Lift and lower the pump only by its handle using a rope or chain, never by the power cable
- Do not run the pump dry for long periods
- Always connect the earth conductor before use
Maintenance Tips
- Check the oil in the seal chamber regularly; water in the oil indicates seal wear
- Inspect the impeller for wear if output drops
- Clean the strainer after working in muddy water
- Check motor insulation resistance before installation
- Inspect the power cable for cuts and damage before each use
- Flush with clean water after pumping sandy water
