Product Description

This is an imported, fully refurbished electric wire rope winch built from an 8.5 kW (11.4 HP) three-phase brake motor, an IMT planetary gearbox (ratio 1:119.5) and a wire rope drum. Cleaned, repainted and tested, it is ready for pulling, hoisting and hauling duty. Supplied by Standard Machinery, Bhavnagar, for buyers across India and export markets.

Overview

The winch combines a Japanese Miyaura 8.5 kW, 4-pole induction motor with a built-in brake and an IMT (Toyo Seimitsu) planetary reduction gearbox. The high 1:119.5 reduction gives strong pulling torque at the drum, while the built-in brake holds the load safely when the motor stops. The drum comes wound with wire rope. This type of winch is used for dragging, pulling, hoisting and positioning heavy loads in workshops, yards, construction and marine work.

⚡ Power Supply Note (India / 50 Hz)

The motor is rated 440 V, 3-phase, 60 Hz. On Indian 50 Hz supply it runs about 17% slower (around 1450 RPM) with correspondingly slower drum speed, and the motor runs a little warmer. It works on Indian supply; for continuous heavy duty, ask us for advice.
