This is an imported 2 ton (2000 kg) electric chain hoist mounted on a manual push-type beam trolley. It is supplied by Standard Machinery in Imported, Refurbished & Tested condition. The hoist lifts and lowers the load electrically. You move it along the I-beam by hand, which makes it a practical, low-cost choice for workshops, maintenance bays and production areas where loads travel short distances.
The bottom hook block is cast with a 2000 kp rating. kp (kilopond) is an older metric unit: 2000 kp equals 2000 kgf, or about 2 tonnes. The trolley side plate is cast 3200 kp, so the trolley is rated higher than the hoist. The working load limit of the complete unit is 2000 kg, governed by the hoist and hook block.

This hoist runs on a 3 phase supply. Please confirm your site voltage and frequency before ordering. Indian industrial supply is typically 415 V, 50 Hz. If the motor nameplate shows a 60 Hz-only rating, the hoist will lift about 17% slower on a 50 Hz supply. A correctly rated pendant control, contactor and overload protection must be used. Please confirm with us whether a pendant switch is included with this unit.
Safety Note
Before any lifting use, the hoist must be inspected and load-tested by a competent person, and its safe working load (SWL) certified as per local regulations. This includes:
- Load chain: check for wear, elongation, corrosion and damaged links, and replace if outside limits
- Motor brake: confirm it holds the full rated load
- Hook: check for opening or deformation and fit a working safety latch
- Upper and lower limit switches: check operation if fitted
- Trolley: check that it fits the beam flange width and that end stops are fitted on the beam
This hoist is not intended for lifting persons. Never exceed the 2000 kg rated capacity. The higher 3200 kp trolley marking does not increase the hoist capacity. This unit is not certified for use in explosive or flammable atmospheres.

- Lubricate the load chain regularly with suitable chain lubricant, especially in humid or coastal sites
- Check the brake air gap and brake holding at regular intervals
- Inspect the hook, hook block and chain guides for wear
- Check gearbox oil or grease level as per the gearbox design
- Keep the trolley wheels clean and check wheel and axle wear
- Inspect the power cable, pendant and terminal box for damage or loose connections
